This makes it incredibly versatile for a range of vocalists, genres, and styles. The Apex also has a built-in Class A preamp that can be used in its phantom-powered active mode, adding 20 dB of clean boost to help vocals punch through the mix in live performances. Its aerodynamically-tuned head enhances focus on on-axis signals, keeping sources in front of the capsule upfront and clear.
